Say Goodbye to Leaky Horizontal Pumps

Retrofit your process with enclosed column vertical sealless pumps and eliminate mechanical seal failure headaches, downtime and cost

Our estimates put mechanical seal failure as the cause of 85% of pump repairs. It’s just become accepted that if you have mechanically sealed pumps, you will have wet plant floor and repeated repair downtime.

But you don’t have to settle for leaks and repairs just because your current pumps are horizontal models. Gusher’s Enclosed Column Vertical Pumps eradicate this point of failure with a sealless design. It’s easier than you think to replace your leaky horizontal pumps with sealless vertical enclosed column pumps.

Typical Retrofit Process:

  1. Work with Gusher’s applications engineers to custom engineer a pump configuration for your application.
  2. Gusher custom manufactures your pump, along with a steel support stand.
  3. Remove horizontal pump and base.
  4. Position support stand.
  5. Make minor changes (typically just addition of an elbow) to the intake piping.
  6. Install pump into support stand and make discharge pipe connections.
  7. Run enclosed column return line to the tank or suction line.
  8. Enjoy years of maintenance-free pumping!
